This historic stone arch crosses a small creek, between Merrimac and Lodi.
The bridge is a double track structure. While most double track bridges were expanded and had two construction dates, it appears this one was not.
Chicago & North Western records provide only the 1896 date, implying that the bridge was not expanded, like some other area structures.
The bridge also features two spans, making for a more appealing structure. Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
The photo above is an overview. The bridge can be seen from WI-113.
